St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church began in 1907 with the arrival of several Czech Moravian families to Robstown Texas. In 1924, St. John Nepomucene became a Mission of St. Cyril and Methodius Church with the purchase of an old church building. In 1934 St. John Nepomucene was offically made a Parish within the Diocese of Corpus Christi and the current church was built in 1937. In 2011 the main Church was renovated.
